License agreement for 1C:Enterprise 8.5
This License Agreement is a document conditioning the terms of use of the above-mentioned 1C:Enterprise 8 SOFTWARE PRODUCT by the entity (hereinafter referred to as "Licensee"), either private or legal, in possession of a copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT that was lawfully produced and registered by 1C-Soft LLC.
SOFTWARE PRODUCT is a 1C:Enterprise 8 bundle containing 1C:Enterprise 8 installation package, at least one application or configuration (except for ad hoc 1C:Enterprise 8 deliveries), and the License Agreement regulating the terms of use of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
All exclusive proprietary rights for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (the actual software recorded on digital data media, software updates and add-ons provided separately, and any accompanying materials in a hard-copy or electronic form) are owned by 1C-Soft LLC (hereinafter referred to as "the Copyright Owner") registered in Moscow, Russian Federation. By installing the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and saving it to a computer memory, the Licensee acknowledges being bound by this License Agreement.
According to this License Agreement, the Licensee is granted selected non-exclusive rights as described below. The Licensee is to keep the License Agreement included into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT bundle as a document confirming their right to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT granted by the Copyright Owner. The Copyright Owner reserves the right to unilaterally change the technical support terms from time to time, including the terms for providing the Licensee with updates to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, by publishing a corresponding information message on the Copyright Owner's website.

RIGHTS AND LIMITATIONS

The Licensee is entitled to install and use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in accordance with the software documentation, on one computer at a time. The Licensee is entitled to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on multiple computers only if the Licensee holds the 1C:Enterprise 8 Client License that allows to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on multiple computers and in accordance with the workstation licensing terms stated below. The Licensee is entitled to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in a client-server mode only if the Licensee holds the 1C:Enterprise 8 Server License and only in accordance with the 1C:Enterprise 8 server licensing terms stated below. The Licensee is entitled to use the applications (configurations) not included into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT bundle only if the Licensee holds a separate License for each application (configuration) used.

If the Licensee is using the software products or the computer devices designed to reduce the number of the users who have direct access to 1C:Enterprise 8 (sometimes referred to as "multiplexing" software or hardware), this does not reduce the number of the required 1C:Enterprise 8 Client Licenses. The required number of the 1C:Enterprise 8 Client Licenses must be equal to the number of the individual entry points to the multiplexing software or hardware in use.

According to this License Agreement, the transfer of rights for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to a third party is only allowed if the complete SOFTWARE PRODUCT bundle (including this License Agreement) the Licensee holds the right for is transferred. In this case, the original Licensee shall uninstall all the copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT from the computer it was used on and notify the Copyright Owner about the transfer of rights.

The Licensee undertakes to prevent any violations of the Copyright Owner's exclusive rights for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, in particular not to commit the following acts and to prevent third parties from committing the following acts without specific written permission of the Copyright Owner:

to distribute the SOFTWARE PRODUCT or its components;

to modify the SOFTWARE PRODUCT's program code, the database contents, and other datasets in which the system stores information, except for the modifications made with the SOFTWARE PRODUCT's built-in tools that are described in the accompanying documentation;

to modify the behavior of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform by any means, with the exception of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT's built-in tools that are described in the accompanying documentation;

to access the SOFTWARE PRODUCT's infobase and develop derivative systems based on the SOFTWARE PRODUCT using means and technological solutions not described in the accompanying documentation;

to take actions that disable or reduce the efficiency of technical copyright protection means introduced by the Copyright Owner, including the use of multiplexing software or hardware that change the algorithm of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT's software or hardware protection system; or to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT with the copyright protection disabled or modified without the permission of the Copyright Owner;

to recover the source code, decompile, and/or disassemble the system's software components, except for the cases when such activity is explicitly permitted by the legislation of the country in which the product is used and only to the extent to which such activity is explicitly permitted by the legislation of the country in which the product is used.
This License Agreement is valid for the entire lifetime of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT possessed by the Licensee and/or for the period the Licensee possesses copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and its accompanying documentation are provided to the Licensee “AS IS” - in accordance with the principle generally accepted in international practice (AS IS), according to which the Copyright Owner does not provide any representations or warranties regarding the quality of the programs, the absence of errors or the uninterrupted operation of the software, as well as compliance of the software and information contained in the databases with all the requirements of the Licensee, regardless of whether they have been reported to the Copyright Owner and/or its partners.
The information that the Copyright Owner can obtain about the Licensee, including information provided during registration, when applying for updates or contacting the Copyright Owner's technical support service, can be used by the Copyright Owner to send letters related to the Copyright Owner's software to the email address provided by the Licensee, as well as via other telecommunication channels the Licensee hereby confirms his consent to receive advertising and service messages from the Copyright Owner and/or from his partners.
When receiving updates from the Copyright Owner's servers, the Licensee agrees to periodically provide the Copyright Owner with certain anonymized information, such as (including, but not limited to): type and version of the installed SOFTWARE PRODUCT, update identifier, current license number. The Copyright Owner is entitled to compare this information with previously signed and currently valid IT support agreements.

Workstation licensing

The SOFTWARE PRODUCTS at any single moment can be accessed from the number of workstations specified in the 1C:Enterprise 8 Client License, legally acquired by the Licensee. It is assumed that the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS are accessed from this computer and that they are used in cases where the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS or parts thereof are recorded in the computer’s memory, as well as in other cases when there is a direct or indirect connection between the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS and the computer, workstation, pocket PC, or other digital electronic device.

Client License for 1C:Enterprise 8 is valid while the following conditions are met:

2.1. The Licensee possesses one or more lawfully acquired SOFTWARE PRODUCTS.

2.2. The SOFTWARE PRODUCTS were installed to the Licensee's computers from the distribution packages mentioned above.

2.3. Each workstation that is used, in accordance with this Client License, to access the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS and infobases of applications included in the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS belongs to one of the following categories:

2.3.1. Computers that have 1C:Enterprise 8 software license files or hardware dongles installed.

2.3.2. Computers connected to the same local area network that has 1C:Enterprise 8 dongles installed.

2.3.3. Other computers that are not used to create infobases for applications included in the SOFTWARE PRODUCTS, but are used to access infobases of applications located on computers defined in 2.3.1 and 2.3.2 above.

Number of Client Licenses required for sessions with 1C:Enterprise 8 infobases (when multiple user sessions run on the same computer to access the infobases):

3.1. If a workstation has a 1C:Enterprise 8 software license file or dongle installed, or a workstation is connected to a local area network in which 1C:Enterprise 8 dongles are installed, then one (1) Client License is required for all sessions with 1C:Enterprise 8 infobases running on this workstation.

3.2. If a workstation does not have a 1C:Enterprise 8 software license file or dongle installed, and a workstation is not connected to a local area network in which 1C:Enterprise 8 dongles are installed, then a separate Client License is required for each session with 1C:Enterprise 8 infobases running on this workstation.

1C:Enterprise 8 server licensing

1C:Enterprise 8 server is a specialized server application for accessing infobases using client-server technology. 1C:Enterprise 8 server serves as an intermediate software layer between the 1C:Enterprise 8 client applications and the database server.

The Licensee is entitled to install and use 1C:Enterprise 8 Server on one server computer.

For server clusters containing multiple computers, a separate license is required for each computer running 1C:Enterprise 8 Server.

Usage of 1C:Enterprise 8 Server is considered to be legal if all of the following conditions are met:

The Licensee possesses one or more lawfully acquired SOFTWARE PRODUCTS;

1C:Enterprise 8 Server is installed on one server computer;

the Licensee possesses and lawfully uses 1C:Enterprise 8 Client licenses for all workstations that are to access 1C:Enterprise 8 Server.
Certain functionality of 1C:Enterprise 8 Server, as highlighted in the accompanying documentation, is available only to those Licensees who purchased 1C:Enterprise 8 CORP. Server license as well as Client licenses for 1C:Enterprise 8 CORP. Such functionality is not legally available to users of 1C:Enterprise 8. Server license and Client licenses for 1C:Enterprise 8 PROF. 1C:Enterprise 8.5 CORP server has the following additional functionality compared to the 64-bit PROF server:
background database configuration updates;
extra management tools for distribution of the following loads between production servers in a cluster (broken down by infobase, by client application type, or by background job):
cluster services;
infobase connections;
flexible cluster load management:
safe memory consumption per call;
number of infobases per process;
amount of working process memory up to which the server is considered productive;
maximum amount of working process memory;
balancing strategy (by memory, by performance);
external session management;
security profiles;
updating thin client from server;
publishing thin client updates and infobase lists via http.
Thin client licensing
The thin client is a component of the 1C:Enterprise 8 system. It provides client access to infobases or Internet services created on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.
Thin client is included in the official distribution package of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. It is also available for download from official 1C website provided that the Licensee accepts the terms of the license agreement. Thin client can be used free of charge.
When accessing infobases or Internet services via 1C:Enterprise 8 thin client, the client license can be provided and paid for by the infobase owner, the Internet service supplier, or the user.
Base edition licensing
Base edition of 1C:Enterprise 8 (hereinafter referred to as "BASE EDITION") is a 1C:Enterprise 8 distribution package that includes, among others, the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform and a specialized application (configuration).
License agreements for base editions impose the following functionality and usage limitations:
the software product supports single-user access, sequential access by multiple users, or simultaneous access by multiple users (as specified in the License Agreement for the software product);
1C:Enterprise 8 server connection is not supported;
distributed infobase mode is not supported;
configuration development and modification tools are not available;
external connection mode is not supported;
web client is not supported;
thin client only operates with file-based infobases.
To access and use BASE EDITION for some software products, the Licensee may be required to obtain a software license for using a BASE EDITION copy limited to a Licensee's computer. BASE EDITION does not support hardware dongles.
Training version licensing
Training version of 1C:Enterprise 8 (hereinafter referred to as "TRAINING VERSION") is a 1C:Enterprise 8 distribution package that includes, among others, a specialized (training) version of the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform and one or several training applications (configurations).

The Licensee is entitled to install and use TRAINING VERSION on one computer. 1C:Enterprise Server licenses and Client licenses cannot be used with TRAINING VERSION. To use TRAINING VERSION on multiple computers, a separate copy of TRAINING VERSION per computer must be purchased or downloaded free of charge from the official 1C website.

TRAINING VERSION does not support hardware dongles or electronic licenses.

TRAINING VERSION cannot be used for real-life automation tasks of enterprises, organizations, or institutions, as well as for personal goals. TRAINING VERSION can be used for development of real-life applications in accordance with documentation included in the software product's distribution package. However, a commercial version of 1C:Enterprise 8 is required to use these developed application for real-life purposes.
1C:Enterprise mobile platform licensing
Mobile application development tools and 1C:Enterprise mobile platform for development are included in the commercial delivery of the 1C:Enterprise platform. They are available to application developers who have purchased the 1C:Enterprise platform distribution package without any extra payment.
When developers distribute his/her mobile applications created on the 1C:Enterprise platform in app stores or other sources for free, they do not need to conclude an additional license agreement with 1C Company and nor any financial undertakings raises. On the contrary, any attempts of monetization requires concluding a license agreement with 1C company.
To enable employees to install and use mobile applications created on the 1C:Enterprise platform on their mobile devices, a company must purchase client licenses for the required number of mobile workplaces.
When installing several applications created on the 1C:Enterprise platform on one device, a company must purchase client licenses for mobile workplaces for each application.
